Regional Sales Manager

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering + MBA in Sales & Marketing

Experience:

12+ years in sales management, preferably in the lubricant or industrial products sector

Job Responsibility

  • Develop strategies for immediate and long term business growth in the export market territory assigned to you.

  • Map the opportunities /inputs obtained from all the international participation /activities undertaken so far.

  • With inputs from IBM, decide priorities in the export market, with respect to the regions verticals/ specific products (where we are confident)

  • Identify, coordinate and participate in trade shows (preferably along with distributors) as part of marketing activities

  • Work with new and existing distributors in assigned territory for increasing growth, entering new markets and smooth functioning of plant and dispatch.

  • Building long term relationships with existing distributors.

  • Key Distributor growth YOY

  • Frequent visit to distributor along with end user visits.

  • Planning and order scheduling to ensure fast and smooth movement of orders.

  • Enhance presence in untapped markets with newer distributors.

  • Track customer activities on CRM and coordinate with support staff in logistics, plant and dispatch.

  • Updating daily activities of customers on CRM, Salesforce

  • Reports on received and pending DBK/MEIS and resolving any issues with them

  • Export reporting master is updated regularly and purchase, plant and dispatch are updated with upcoming orders.

  • Coordinating with Support staff regarding proper documentation and on-time dispatch of orders.

  • E commerce and online trade.

  • Weekly review of the trade inquiries

  • Find ways to make this a more potent tool in generating more enquiries
