Minimum Requirements

  • Objective: Active scouting , hunting & farming activity - Technical consultation with Design/R&D/Application engineers/Procurement/Accounts.
  • Task: Coverage of Automotive OEM & Tier component suppliers in Pune, Nasik, Aurangabad, Nagpur, Pithampur, Mumbai, Sanand, Baroda areas.
  • Activity time distribution: Maharashtra 70% , MP & Gujarat - 30%
  • Ability to drive and have overnight stays as per requirement.
  • Friendly, cooperative, networker - internal & external, eager to learn and grow in his career.
  • Ideally: experienced in Lubricants & Specialties for a few years.

1. Developing new suppliers and evaluating existing vendors to meet company goals

2. Collect and analyze data on Raw Materials’ pricing trends to ensure the company is making the best decisions

3. Working closely with R&D to understand the technical parameters of RMs required for new development

4. Responsible for identifying cost improvement projects, strategic sourcing projects, and cost savings through     alternate Raw material sourcing

5. Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications

6. Regular reporting to the Management on procurement timeframes and spends

7. Working to improve inventory and purchasing systems and processes

8. Must have a strategic outlook to continuously reduce material cost, make decisions based on market situation and information and maintain a seamless supply

Minimum Requirements


1. Minimum BSc in Chemistry or B.Tech in Chemical Engineering

2. Additional certification/degree related to Purchasing, Material Management, or Supply Chain Management desirable

3. Minimum experience of 3 years in Chemical Procurement

4. Experience in Chemical Industry is desirable

5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

6. Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills

7. Strong planning and organizational skills.

8. Ability to work independently

9. Able to travel to meet with suppliers

Reporting to: Export Manager

Education: Engineering or B.Sc/M.Sc (Chemistry).

Experience: 1 to 3 years

Job Responsibility:

  1. Cold-call prospects that are generated by Trade Portals
  2. Develop Sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts.
    Identify decision makers within targeted accounts to initiate sales process
  3. Collaborate with team members to determine sales approach for new accounts
  4. Maintain and expand the company’s database of prospects
  5. Set up and deliver sales presentations, product training, and other sales actions to new leads, accounts
  6. Handle inbound, unsolicited leads
  7. Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts in the corporate database

Minimum Requirements


Requirement:

  1. Engineering, Science Graduate.
  2. Two to three years of direct work experience in a sales role.
  3. Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
  4. Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
