Calcium Sulfonate Greases (CaS Greases) emerged in the lubrication industry as high-performance greases known for their exceptional mechanical stability, corrosion protection, high load-carrying capacity, and water resistance.

1960s Origin: Calcium sulfonate greases were developed in the 1960s, stemming from the technology of overbased calcium sulfonate detergents in motor oils.
